Lamb Crunchwrap Recipe

It’s everything you’ve been looking for in a homemade crunchwrap plus a little Desvelados Hot Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • 1 ½ tsp chili powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ cup salsa

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 6 flour tortillas (10-in,, avoid corn, they'll break)

  • 6 tostadas

  • 12 oz cheddar cheese (grated)

  • 1 tomato (diced)

  • 1 iceberg lettuce (shredded)

  • 1 bottle of Desvelados Hot Sauce

Let's begin the adventure:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and add the lamb

  2. Cook the lamb on medium heat until it turns brown and crumbles

  3. Add the seasonings, salsa, and ketchup into the saucepan and stir well

  4. Pour the lamb mixture out of the saucepan and into a bowl nearby.

  5. Lay out a tortilla into the saucepan and add about ¼ cup of the lamb to the center

  6. Break some tostada over the lamb

  7. Sprinkle some cheese, tomato, and lettuce

  8. Fold a side of the tortilla to the middle and repeat around the tortilla, making sure to seal the insides (use two spatulas for this step)

  9. Slowly flip the crunchwrap over, placing the seam side face down

  10. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.

  11. Top with Desvelados Hot Sauce to your heart's content, and enjoy your adventure!
